This unit is about present tense in the usage of the English language. I found it to be challenging. I learnt the differences between simple present tenses, present perfect tense and present continuous tense and how to use the tenses. The unit goes further by explaining the different usages of the 3 tenses and also how you can structure negatives and questions using the three different tenses in the present tense.This unit provided an overview of the four present tenses and their applications. For each tense presented, the structure of the tense was demonstrated as well as examples of the positive, negative and question forms. I learned about common mistakes language learners may have with each of these examples, why they might make these mistakes and appreciated using the task sheets to practice correcting these mistakes.
