This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This lesson was helpful to me in that it explains various methods for teaching grammar, language structure, and vocabulary. It helped me to review the ESA (engage, study, activate) method for lesson organization. This pragmatic strategy for reveling the English language to students is an effective method for building solid lesson plans. The three ways to use the ESA are straight arrow (ESA), patchwork (EASASA), and boomerang (EASA).This chapter covers the four aspects of the present tense. It introduces the form, usage, typical student errors, and Activate Stage teaching ideas of each of the four aspects. The \"teaching ideas\" part is especially inspiring: it provides examples of simple activities that can help students practice the grammar they just learned, and some activities serve to compare and combine the usage of several different aspects of the tense.
