Unit 12 is the second half of the receptive skills. This unit focuses on the writing and speaking part of learning a language. It talks about how accuracy and fluency activities are equally important and gives examples on how to teach them. At the end of the unit it provides a list of games which can be used for the writing and speaking when learning a language.The productive elements of language include speaking and writing. One particularly challenging, but worthwhile feat is to encourage students to write creative pieces in English, as opposed to solely grammer or essay-based writing.
