This section has allowed me to understand the different types of assessments to use in the classroom and when best to use them. It has shown me that different styled tests and evaluations can be used to help children and the teacher for different purposes, for instance, where to place children and what levelled work they should be starting at, to what in for what information the children were able to retain from the lesson.This unit talks about the various present tenses including present simple, present continuous, present perfect and the present perfect progressive. It also gives all the different uses of these tenses. In addition, it also provides some past participles as well as some learning activities. I already knew most of this information, but I did learn a few new uses of the present tense. All in all it was a great review for me.
