English can be understood without using intonation and stress but sounds more natural and fluent when these methods are used. When teaching intonation there are several method the teacher can use to demonstrate such as, nonsense words, gestures, humming, and writing the board. When teaching stress of words or syllables it is important to note how the stress can change the meaning of the speaker.I liked most in the video the two approaches of how to teach the modals. There is better for lower level students to teach the usage while for the higher level students the context. The task sheet made me work a lot escpecially to find 2 teaching ideas for the modals. Because this task was the most challenging in this lesson after I found really good activities I have gained a little confidence.
