lesson planning is an important aspect in the art of teaching. It enable teachers to select and plan what to teach. Thus, lesson planning is an imperative to all teachers because it helps teachers to intentionally prepare or plan how the teaching and learning process shall unfold. It therefore, enables teachers to evaluate learners' and teachers' attainment of objectives.I have always felt we should teach English phonetically but after reviewing this lesson I can see just how difficult it can be. Having been in a position where young children with very poor English skills copied my speech I now understand it was a very good way for them to learn. As I submit this test I realize hours could be spent on memorizing the phonetic dictionary.
