This unit strengthened knowledge I had learnt in previous units and added on more information without being overwhelming. After completing this unit I now feel more confident on different teaching structures/styles and how they can be applied to different teaching content. The unit was useful in identifying another aspect of english learning that is essential to anyone wanting to learn language.This unit compares created and authentic materials. It emphasise the need to omit, replace, supplement or adapt any material parts as required. Half of the unit provides actual course book and lesson materials. If the teacher has the chance to choose a course book, it details what to be looking for. An interesting point was to make the distinction between what is needed for a classroom and home.
