In this unit, the focus was on the productive skills, writing and speaking. When teaching these skills it is important to remember accuracy and fluency in your lessons. There are several ways you can encourage interaction with students on these skills, such as pairing them into groups, having controlled activities, making all lessons purposeful, and allowing students time to think before answering questions.Seeing the two examples between an effective teacher and an un effective teacher really made me realize that even when concepts are the same the teacher can make a huge difference. As a teacher we need to bring a lot of energy to the classroom at all time to inspire children to learn. We shouldn't bog the students down with over complicated terms and we should use examples like pictures to convey our points.
