This is a very useful unit for me to have a comprehensive awareness for past tenses. I've learnt a lot about structures, usages, and teaching ideas about past tenses, which can help me to teach those grammar knowledge to students in a more professional way. The teaching ideas also remind me the importance of activate stage in grammar studying. Students can only master the knowledge by using them correctly in activate stage.By going through this unit, realized how difficult can be for students to learn and integrate the past tenses and its uses. Linking each past tense with experiences from their personal lives will definitely contribute as good activation tasks.
