In unit 15 I learned about evaluation and testing. I found this to be an interesting unit because I have never constructed in class tests for my students. Within my current job position all test administered to the students are prepared by licensed English teachers, whereas my job position plays the role of an Assistant Language Teacher. However, I have had experience with external tests regarding my own language learning (Japanese). I feel that by implementing a system for evaluation for students of private lessons that I give will help me to better identify their needs. In addition, I should find out if there are any external tests that my students would like to prepare for. That way I can cater their language needs to the area that the specific language test is for.
