Lesson planning is important in order to keep track of what we want to bring out to the students, for record of what was discussed and what wasn’t so that it can be followed up next time. It is also a good way for the teacher to think, predict and find solution for what he assumes the students may find difficult. A lesson plan is made to guide and help the teacher be organized. However, the key to a good lesson is also the ability that the teacher has to be flexible and adapt his lesson to how the class is responding in order to also follow the flow of the discussions and the reflection as well as helping him to stay on track of what he thinks is also essential to bring to his class and not get too distracted by the students discussions that may also go off topic.
