I like how course material is suggested in this unit (and the other units), it makes lesson planning a lot quicker and easier. Suggestions about course books helps as well. I currently live in a non-English speaking country where I don't know the language, and one of my goals is to be able to read a menu, so I appreciate the use of authentic materials as learning aids.Accuracy activities are usually part of the study phase. Fluency activities are usually part of the activate phase. Controlled activities are are drilling using a 3x3 drill and prompting. Guided activities include guided role-play and model dialogues. Creative communication are free role-play, discussions information gap, debates, simulations and communication games.
