This lesson taught about modal auxiliary verbs which are can, could, may, might, should, will, have to, and have got to. These verbs are used to express to express obligation, possibility, permission, ability, and requests. This unit also taught me about the two different voices in English. The two types of voices are the passive and active voice. The last thing we learned about was the three different clauses.This unit was great at addressing the theoretical aspects of lesson planning; however, I wish there had been more concrete examples, other than just the one. And of those additional examples, perhaps various styles. Also, I was confused by the materials following the blank template. They are apparently different lessons to be built into a lesson plan, but there are no directions. Perhaps that will come later.
