The Unit covered all the necessary aspects of classroom management. It explained the different kinds of groupings that can be used in the classroom and their advantages and disadvantages; followed by a piece on the seating arrangement in a classroom. It also shed light on giving instructions, establishing a rapport and ensuring discipline - all very essential to a healthy classroom environment.In this unit I have come across, that they way we as teachers represent ourselves is very much important, the way we dress, the way we communicate with the students and the level in which we talk about the lesson to the students. As educators we have to remember that it is their second or even maybe their third language. The students want to learn the language , we just need to give them time.
