This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
Much like the Present tense unit the focus was on four main aspects Simple, Continuous, Perfect and perfect continuous. The four basic subgroups of each and every tense. In this unit I've learned good teaching tips as well as to confirm some aspects of the previous tense unit. It was good to contrast between both of them. Also it was very beneficial to know the usage of each aspect of the four subgroups. This unit although extensive, I thought to be a bit broad. I understand there are different types of learning and methodologies that were explained in this unit, however I didn't particularly feel like I was taught anything. I see that there are different teaching styles and techniques but this lesson didn't point out (in detail) which ages of students would be best suited to which styles, in my opinion.
