This unit was helpful in terms of tying up any loose ends that the other units did not address. As all students that a teacher interacts with are new at some point, it provided a lot of creative and fun ideas in terms of 'breaking the ice'. I like the idea of the ball game and will personally be incorporating it into my classroom first day activities in the future.This unit teaches about the different types of present tenses. There are four present tenses which are taught in the ESL classroom. They are present simple, present continuous, present perfect and present perfect continuous. Here are examples of the four parts of the present tense: I work (PS), I am working (PC), I have worked (PP) and I have been working (PPC).
