Book and materials are a very emotive issue for many teachers. Authentic materials real life materials that are not graded for level, and so should be selected carefully. Created materials are produce by teachers to supplement materials from a course book. Their is advantages and disadvantages of coursebook. Four different options for coursebook use are omit, replace, supplement, adapt.Grammar, vocabulary and functions are central to English language teaching, because without the knowledge and the appropriate use of them, the students cannot learn, understand or express their own ideas by using the new language. The teaching of grammar and vocabulary, using strategies and techniques, would eventually lead to language development for the sake of meaningful interaction.
