I learned that there are twelve different tenses in the English language, and that there are four different types for the three different times; past, present, and future. This lesson definitely helped me to fine tune my understanding of the present tense, and make sure that I understand it better as I teach other students. It made a lot of sense and I like the different ways to teach it that are given for the activate stage.Different groups of students will need different approaches to teaching the English language. This will include different age groups, business groups, motivating factors and levels of English speakers. The teacher will need to tailor the presentations to these specific groups and not treat them all as being the same. Take motivation and reason for needing to learn the English language into consideration when planning lessons.
