This unit dealt with class management. It gave practical ideas on classroom seating, how to establish rapport and maintaining discipline. For the seating aspect, it gave good examples on when and how to use specific seating. It also gave disadvantages for each. I plan on reviewing this when I have an actual classroom and can see what is available. I thought the section on how to establish rapport was good but I would have liked a section about different nationalities. I know that some gestures are not polite in some countries and could destroy rapport with the teacher. I know it is impossible to cover very nationality and culture but maybe a section on how to reestablish the rapport if that does happen. I learned what to do with a student that does need to be disciplined.
