In this unit I learnt how to plan a lesson. The most effective way to do this is through writing it down. Every teacher has its personal style but there are some basic principles that must be followed. Moreover, it is important to keep in mind that flexibility can be needed at times. I looked at what should be the content of a lesson plan and at what it looks like, so that now I know how to do it myself.I was shocked by how much I actually remembered from grammar school! It was a great refresher; however, since I have recently written a book, grammar has been at the forefront of my mind. I did enjoy dusting off certain parts in the exercise to feel comfortable again with the exact nomenclature of sentence structure. I did have to review the lesson twice before I was confident enough to take the exam.
