This unit reflected on the past tense of verbs -- their formation, usages, and common errors. I particularly appreciate the focus on potential mistakes English learners typically make. Having lived in a foreign country for three years I know these errors exist. Now, I know why and some things to look out for when teaching the past tense. Additionally, it appears that irregular verbs will be quite challenging for English learners.Unit 15 covers the importance of evaluating students and the different ways to do so. The unit also states that it can be very helpful to have the students evaluate the course. It includes the purpose of evaluations and tests as well as the different types of tests there can be. It also lists the different types of external exams such as TOEFL, Cambridge exams, and IELTS. Within the unit, there is also an example of a placement test.
