This unit provides a list of different tools and a very solid list of how to use each. The most useful thing that I was able to take away from this unit was the list of online resources. Having a list this large gives me many options when teaching students using various resources. With this many options it can also help me become a little more flexible with my lesson planning.I learnt the difference of teaching speaking and writing skills. As I have only taught Finnish as a mother tongue, I found some very useful tips on how to use different speaking and writing activities in the classroom. I have noticed that especially writing (and creative writing) can be very personal to some students and therefore requires some good sensitivity from a teacher.
