This unit guides us through the mind process of the student when exposed to a foreign language and helps with the tools to engage students in the classroom. It focuses on grammar and vocabulary. It exposed me to techniques for vocabulary teaching, techniques for practicing language structures and the Task sheet was very helpful. I definitely feel better equipped after studying this Unit.This unit went in depth on how to teach different groups. I think that this is important to go into because as teacher just beginning to each ESL you might not necessarily know what types of groups you will be teaching. Furthermore, if you do know whether or not you will be teaching adults, young learners, etc. it was informative to see what different obstacles one might come up against.
