In unit 3 I effectively learned how to mange and control different classes. Using a variety of techniques I now know how to arrange my class and how to group students to increase productivity. I also learned how to effectively use teacher talk time and how and when to do board writing. Knowing when to do group activities and individual activities is also a very important part of being an effective teacher.This unit discusses how to teach new language. I think many of the points listed on the third page are useful to know, but I could only imagine adult classes or perhaps high-level younger classes making use of most of rest of the content. A lot of the suggestions were too specific to be of use to me. I hope later parts of this course will discuss methods to use with young English-language learners as well.
