This is how our TEFL graduates feel they have gained from their course, and how they plan to put into action what they learned:
This unit provided a detailed introduction of the four types of present tenses: Present Simple, Present Perfect, Present Continuous, and Present Perfect Continuous. Each variation included positive, negative and question examples, as well as grammatical construction and fundamental rules on present tense formations. The grammatical constructions in the text and final comparisons in the video showing how one thought is altered in different forms helped me better grasp the differences among the present tenses. In addition, the variations included useful explanations and examples of how and under what circumstances a tense is used. Finally, the text and video provided valuable activity suggestions on teaching the different present tenses to encourage talk time among students.
