This unit showed the differences between two styles of teaching showing that the style in the first video proved to be ineffective while the style in the second video was quite effective. The instructor in the first video was difficult to understand and did not provide useful feedback to the students. He also did not use gesture appropriately and had no visuals to help the students to understand the material. The instructor in the second video used appropriate gestures, motivated the class well, had visuals, and generally seemed to be a more kind and understanding teacher. He also spoke more clearly. For these reasons I believe that to e an effective teacher one should strive to be more like the teacher in the second video, and less like the teacher in the first video.
