It seems obvious but the tip to not be sarcastic with students b/c it may not be understood is a good one. I think I have done this a few times in my teaching and just got confused nods or worse. The list of questions to ask would be useful if I need to ever prepare for a new position. I like the bit that was written to include personal interests on your CV and if the person feels they don’t want to work with you, it’s just as well because you want to be comfortable at your work too. I will think about tweaking my resume a bit to make it more reflective of my personality. I really like the sample resume. It includes things I would like to have on my resume like current residence and martial status but also it’s much more readable than my current resume.
