This unit dealt with effective use of equipment during language teaching. It covered different equipment, from the basic whiteboard/blackboard, to intermediate equipment like an overhead projector and whiteboard, and the use of things such as cassettes, cd players, dvd players, etc. Though modern technology has made some of this obsolete at times, they are still useful for certain coursework, or when the digital replacements are not as easily accessible. It also details the use of computers and smartphones in conjunction with other teaching aids.
