This unit taught the benefit of preparing lesson plans as well as the importance to both the students and teacher in planning. I learned how a lesson plan should be written, such as making sure it's organizes, simple and time frame for lesson. This unit taught me what needs to be incorporated into a lesson plan; e.g. language point, aims, teaching aids, objective for students, anticipated problems and adapting lessons for students levels along with the amount of students. It's really important to be flexible and not scripted because if it's scripted the teacher will not be prepared for students who may ask a question off script. Plus if the teacher's plan is inflexible then the lesson will seem too rigid which will not allow students to benefit the most from the English lesson.
