This lesson taught me a lot about the different activities to include in a lesson. One thing that I am most nervous about as a new teacher, is lesson planning. I have had experience lesson planning before as a tutor but really appreciate how ITTT gives a thorough explanation of the different methodologies and why it's important to try varied approaches in the classroom. It was also helpful to learn how to effectively aid students in learning the correct usage of language without taking away from their learning or their self-involvement in the language. Having examples of different activities for the EAS stages was a great addition, as it gives a starting reference for more possibilities in the future and fully explains the concepts detailed using real-life classroom experiences.
