I thought this was a good unit. Good receptive skills are definitely needed in order to learn well. Rather, I think the motivation and using your receptive skills well is what I meant to say.
I think the majority of people have good receptive skills, it's mostly about where they focus at. There are a lot of cases where certain type of people who can cancel out other background noises. For instance, I'm sure a lot if not most of the populous of VN cancel out the background everyday noise from traffic. Also, there are \"Gamers\" who also have this ability to do so. I thought it was good to throw in the Straight arrow ESA questions in the Unit to give me a good sense of, if I actually understanding what I'm doing. I can practice it all day, but without a test to see if I'm correct.
