Class management is a delicate skill required for having a successful, well paced classroom. Many factors must be considered, including class size, space available, the lessons at hand, student age or skill levels (willingness), and likelihood of distraction or of student's likelihood of misbehaving. Regardless of limitations on how a teacher can control the class, there are essentials to managing a class effectively, such as keeping a positive attitude, establishing good rapport with students, and being consistent and fair when maintaining disciple. Teacher's should encourage STT, but not allow student's to get carried away or off track from the lesson. It is the teacher's duty to adapt how they manage the classroom in order to maximize and provide a positive learning experience.
