I learned about the seven future tenses: future simple, future continuous, future perfect, future perfect continuous, be going to with infinitive, present simple, and present continuous. I learned about the uses for each tense, such as predictions for future simple and future continuous, or to say that something will have been done or completed by a certain time in the future in the case of the future perfect. I learned about ideas for teaching each of the tenses, such as predicting scenarios for future simple, or building scenarios using the future continuous tense to try and get out of the \"date from hell.\" Finally, I learned about common mistakes on the part of students trying to use future tenses, such as confusing the future perfect with the future perfect continuous tenses.
