This unit reminds me of the different qualities a good teacher must possess in order make the teaching-learning process effective. As the key person in the classroom, the teacher's important roles are discussed. Furthermore, learners are considered as the most important individuals in the classroom, and this unit describes the general characteristics that a good learner must possess. Moreover, different levels of ability in the English language are enumerated giving me a clear concept about what learners are capable of doing in each level. Finally, reasons why students may be motivated to attend the English class are also presented. Knowing what motivates my learners to learn English gives me a clear understanding and idea in making my lessons interesting, appealing, and relevant.
