The information provided in this unit focused my attention on the parts of speech in the English language. There are many different designations to the components of everyday conversation and sentence structure that are important to learn for the students as well as any individual who desires to learn to speak, read, and write in English. These examples given within the unit served as a great refresher for me. I utilize these components in my everyday communications but very seldom do I describe of think of them as I review documents or email. I more often than not tend to simply read over material and listen to observe if something sounds off. Conveying this information to the students in a manor that they can digest is going to be very important to their growth as English speakers.
