This Unit has clearly taught how an attitude of a teacher can make a huge difference in delivering an effective lesson plan. It is clearly shown in both videos that if a teacher shows lack of interest the students follow suit. In the second lesson the teacher smiled a lot and tried to make his students laugh generating a more relaxed atmosphere. This help allow the students to participate more in the lesson. By calling each one by their names the teacher creates a rapport that makes for a less intimidating class that was shown in the first video. It also shows how important it is to avoid using technical terms that was done by the teacher in the first video as it confused the students so much. His miming and gestures worked so well and helped keep the students aroused and interested.
