This unit covers information concerning appropriate use of equipment and teaching aids in the classroom. It covered what an IWB is as well as suggested other aids such as videos, podcasts, OHPs, computers, etc. As a college graduate, I have already witnessed professors using nearly all of these teaching aids (except for a cassette or CD player) and have been able to see where these resources are best used. I feel that this unit is a good reminder for teachers to mix things up and use different mediums to present their lesson that way neither the teacher nor the students grow bored with the material being taught. The list of resources at the end of the unit was helpful. When I begin preparing my lessons, I will be sure to check these resources to spice up and add clarity to my lessons.
