Comparing the two videos I just watched, I noticed a significant positive change in the interaction between the students and their teacher in the second video. The attitude of the teacher influenced how the students responded. The teacher immediately engaged the students by asking their names and building rapport with the students. The teacher then went on to putting students in pairs for an exercise. Through the exercise the teacher was able to see how much the students knew. The teacher also called on the students at random order which allowed the students to be more alert if the teacher ever called on them to participate in the exercise. The teacher was encouraging and smiled throughout the class as the students participated which gave the students confidence in participating more.
