This unit covered the different types of teaching styles that can be used in the classroom. After defining the different types the unit progressed to give a detailed description of the ESA teaching method. This method is structured with three important steps. First of all the teacher must help the students become engaged in the lesson and interested in talking. Then the teacher can begin the second stage where they cover all the material they want the students to absorb from that lesson. This stage often has activities such as worksheets and focuses more on using English correctly than the other stages. The third stage focuses on letting the students use their new knowledge in conversations and discussion. This teaching method is meant to be the most effective way of teaching English.
