The final unit goes over some of the first time experiences with teaching a class. This would be with a beginner or an existing group of students. The most inexperienced instructors or an instructor with a beginner class will have to focus on creating rapport with the students, finding out about their aspirations and needs when learning, and the English level of every student. Warmers are a good way to begin lessons to include the students in an engaging exercise to not bore the students but to create a comfortable space. There are different alternatives when working with larger groups like using worksheets and pair/group work. Extra material is also important to have, especially when students have difficulties with listening to texts or students who are at a different level than expected.
