This unit focused on receptive skills - reading and listening. Reading and listening are important aspects when learning English however it is not necessary to know every word one comes across. The words which aid to the overall comprehension are important and the other words can be added to one's vocabulary skills set. The methods of creating these skills interests me as students learn more when engaged and when having fun.In this unit, I learned the differences between all the different ways to create the future tense. I have learned different ways to define, explain, and give examples of each way. I notice that pictures will have to be used extensively to help explain the differences in them, perhaps with timelines. This unit has also helped me to better my own spoken and written English as now I know when and why to use each specific tense.
