This unit really gave me broader overview of teaching in itself. The eight methods gave me a great deal of insight to teaching. I really found the ESA by Jeremy Harmer extremely helpful in my daily life as a teacher .I gave me clarity exactly about what to do in each stage of the lesson as well as what activities are use and when to listen and when to teach and when to apply.Everyone has established course materials but it is good to get fresh ideas and examples of different teaching techniques. As i have said before esl students can sometimes spend more time trying to work the system and develop ways to think ahead of the teacher and not applying this to actually learning the language. But this would/should make you think of different approaches
