I learnt that grammar is a very vast area of the English language, to master it, even native speakers need to focus in learning and in acquiring more knowledge and information, to be able to teach proper rules you need to know them yourself. When we speak we need to apply the rules and in order to make sense to the students we have to speak clearly to them with proper grammar so that they learn the rules by practicing them.Unit 18, modals, phrasal verbs and passive voice were all covered and defined. Modal auxiliary verbs were laid out extensively, as well as passive voice with a table detailing the passive formation in the differing tenses. The three types of relative clauses were defined and came with examples to help calrify. The phrasal verbs were probably the toughest in the unit with the names being so similar it is easy to mix them up.
