In this unit they concentrated on the importance of speaking and writing and how to motivates the students to talk and to write. They can be motivated by for example by playing with games. You have to get them interested. It is better to do the accuracy activities in a controlled way as we are concentrating on producing the correct language as with fluency activities the focus will be more on the flow of the communication.When doing the previous unit on present tenses, I felt something was missing, and now I know why. It was interesting seeing a present tense with a future meaning and how it expands the language functions we already have for future tenses. Though I must also state, that with this information, I do not feel like there are only twelve tenses in the English language. Like most things in English, it is more complicated than that.
