From this unite,we have three ways that they are tutorials,evalution by the students and tests to assess a student's language level.We have placement tests,progress tests,Diagnostic tests and practice tests for class tests.Meanwhile we have cambridge assessment for general external examinations.There are many types of external examinations such as ESOL,KET,PET,FCE,CAE,CPE in this unit.Very helpful to have a video contrasting effective and ineffective styles of teaching. It feels like the rubber is starting to hit the road now :) I definitely see how the attitude of the teacher affects everything. I see that the engage phase of the class, although not deep is very important to get the students started and then they are more open to learning when they are comfortable.
