Unit 4 covered the four present tenses of the twelve I will study while taking this course present simple, present continuous, present perfect and present perfect continuous. I learned the the sentence make up of each tense. For example present perfect positive form is subject plus the auxiliary verb have plus the past participle. I also learned ways of reinforcing the correct use these tenses in the Activate phase of an ESA lesson.Unit 9 was very fun to read because it showed me how to actually plan and teach a lesson. I was able to see how teachers plan their lessons as well as the different methods they use to make sure their lessons are well structured, easily understood and monitored. Making sure to set yourself and the students attainable goals is very important to that the students and yourself know where you start as well as what you want to accomplish.
