In this unit, I have learned plenty of role-play activities which I can utilize to incorporate grammar in student speaking tasks. The tables provided in this unit were very precise and confirmed my understanding about each modal. From my experience, phrasal verbs are difficult to teach and for students to comprehend. However, the examples provided in this unit simplified this grammar concept. Another concept that I think is difficult for ESL students to digest is the passive voice. Nevertheless, this unit provided the structure for each passive voice tense. The passive formation table I will definitely utilize next week during my midterm review lesson at my school. Overall, I feel more confident teaching modals and the passive voice after watching the video and studying this lesson.
