This unit talked about the value of testing and evaluating student, as well as several different test and the appropriate times to administer them. It went over Tutorials, Student self evaluations, and tests. The variety of tests go from placement tests, to progress tests, to external exams. The goal of testing is to help see what students have retained, what they are struggling with and what should be touched on a little more.Lesson planning is one of the most important parts of our job as teachers; the included demonstration and application of a teaching template is appreciated. The level of detail in the provided plan is a useful model for my own lessons. The included procedures are detailed but also not rigid, as it allows for alternatives in case the class does not go as planned and accounts for challenges possibly encountered during the lesson.
