In this unit I learned what type of different materials are good to use, and when and why you should use them. It is important to engrave authentic material for the students to make the language more approachable and real. It is also important to create your own material so that it fits the level of the students you are teaching. As usual a mixture is the best way to go. It is good to shift between course books and your own material.Unit 14 is about Course Books and Lesson Materials. This is a shorter unit than most of the previous ones before it. However it's concise and informative. We start by learning about the two main groups of materials. The first being authentic materials and the second being created materials. We then learn about the advantages and disadvantages of course material. Finally, we go over how best to choose and make use of course materials.
