For speaking activities, you can have controlled activity such as 3 by 3 drill, or guided activity such as role-play.
You should make sure you make comfortable atmosphere so students are not afraid to speak or make mistakes, and be able to enjoy communicating with the teacher and other students.
For writing skills, working on handwriting and spelling are important. Layout and punctuation also can be very different from their native language, students need to be given chance to practice many different styles.
This unit gives us many game ideas we can use in class.
